Dear Friend of Hutto Project Celebration:
Project Celebration was created to provide a chemical-free alternative to the traditional drinking parties that
were the accepted form of after-prom parties. Far too often, the futures of our young adults were marred and
some tragically ended by the resulting automobile accidents.
The Hutto community, with the assistance of many generous donors, has successfully participated in the
Project Celebration program since 1991. The parents of Hutto High School students, along with the assistance
of our local churches and businesses in the surrounding communities, can take pride in the fact that since
the inception of this program, no Hutto High School student that has participated in Project Celebration has
perished in an alcohol- or drug-related traffic accident associated with a prom celebration.
Based on this success record, the 2007 Project Celebration Committee has been planning another exciting,
fun-filled evening for our Juniors and Seniors. Since school funds cannot be used, the substantial cost
of the facility, decorations, games, entertainment, refreshments and door prizes must come from donations
and fundraisers organized by the parents, and the assistance from individuals, organizations and
corporate businesses. Monetary donations are greatly needed; however, merchandise or gift certificates/cards
will be publicly acknowledged by having their names printed on the back of the official Project Celebration
t-shirt that each eligible participant receives at the beginning of the event. All Contributors will also
be thanked in an ad in the Hutto newspaper.
We will have different levels of donations available this year and they are as follows:
| | Hippo Diamond Level | - donations of $500 or more |
| | Hippo Platinum Level | - donations of $250 or more |
| | Hippo Gold Level | - donations of $100 or more |
| | Hippo Bronze Level | - donations under $100 |
This can include both cash/check gifts and merchandise or gift card donations. All donations regardless
of amounts are greatly appreciated and welcomed.
Without your generous support, Project Celebration would not be possible.
